Hey man, yes it was actually quite easy. I only provided my old Emirates ID details on the dubai police website and it got accepted. Then I just completed the payment procduretand recieved the soft copy within a day or two. If you have your Emirates ID with you, i suggest do the same.

It will take between 3-4 hours, the process is very smooth and systematic.
