This is sad! Even my long weekend plans have been ruined. Yesterday someone’s tracker got activated at about 7:50PM. So you still have chances.

Did they tell you when the visa was printed? Like the date/time of last update on the case?

I called them in the morning today. They do not have exact status, and will read the last note on the application, which is something like "approved as of [Date], pending visa". Please update me if you get the tracker activated today, I'll do the same.

On which phone number you can reach to CPC Ottawa?

My application was approved yesterday (Aug 28) and today I got an email from MyCIC with subject "You application has been updated". But when I logged into my account there was no update. Do you all receive such email after application has been approved? Dose it mean anything?

Thanks for the response. In my PPR, I had 3 options to send my passport to, Ottawa, NY and LA. But I sent it to Ottawa assuming that the processing will be faster there. MyCIC account status has just changed to approved today. I am waiting for my return tracker to be activated now. Aug 21...
