No, as a Canadian citizen, the border agent will require a Canadian passport, regardless if the other citizenship would theoretically allow them to enter the country. It’s a weird rule, I know.

Have you tried calling IRCC early in the morning right before they open their lines? That has worked for me.

I picked up my passport yesterday and it still had the queen’s name on it if anyone is curious. I needed it urgently so it was printed yesterday also.

I haven’t received an email reply either, even after emailing them twice. The auto-reply might be set up only for specific offices. Mine is Scarborough I suppose. My online tracking is closed now. Just waiting for the certificate to arrive.

My oath ceremony is scheduled for August 10 and I just got the email instructions on August 3rd, exactly a week prior to the ceremony.

As far as I know, if they’ve scheduled your oath ceremony, that means you’ve been approved to become a citizen.
