as long as I know.. u are not a criminal until its proven in the court and a verdict declared by court. So even if your wife charges false claims on you... it does not affect your PCC until you are declared as by court.

no it is not asked by the immigration as part of the application. But there is no harm in providing it under additional documents.

Just sharing my CIC call experience.. I have 31 days left in the progress bar and still in IP 2.. so I called CIC yesterday and spoke to one of the most arrogant and grumpy customer care agent ever. I was being polite and asking questions about criminality check status, eligibility status, etc...

First... is CIC requesting a divorce certificate? or are they requesting any additional or supporting documents related to your divorce.. Since you have already submitted the divorce certificate and the letter of explanation... and CIC is still requesting it that means they have not received it...

Hi, I don't think your travel history could be a reason. My eligibility is still under review but I am in IP2 right now. I have much more extensive and complicated travel history than yours. All we can do is wait :)

Congratulations.. just to give my self some hope of getting my PPR soon.. may I know the country you applied from? and the country you are citizen of?

Ok good to know that its just not me :). Same happened to me.. I logged in today after almost two weeks and noticed that the background check in process.. Let's hope we get the golden email very soon.

When they said that you have met the eligibility... what was the eligibility status on your online application? I mean did it still say that we are reviewing or did say you have met the eligibility?
