Online is bit unpredictable .. overall online application takes 20-30 days to get approval from the day of submission.

It takes around a week to get result after the initiation of review in offiline..so you probably would get a response in 3-4 days if it's a offline application.

You need to make a cover letter or a strong SOP to clarify things why you would come to India and yes you would have to attach rejection letter. Also i have some samples of cover letter of people who got rejected with same reason and got approval then if you need it.

November applicants any update?

Make a cover letter or SOP stating why you would come back to your country. Attach ITRs or income certificate. reapply asap you might get a approval within a week

Background checking is delaying your result ..you might have to wait for another week for response

From how long they have been checking your background?

Acknowledgement is sent just to tell you that your profile is under process so you have to wait for a while.Receiving or not receiving acknowledgement mail doesnot have any impact on your result or on processing time.
