Sparkle, Can you check if you can access eCas using PA's information and the receipt number? I can access eCas using Sponsor information using Receipt number(as well as Client ID), but when I try to access PA's eCas, I can do it only using immigration file number.

Yes, We got the Client ID from the sponsorship approval letter.

You get your client ID only after your Sponsorship is approved, but you pay the fees when you are submitting the application to Mississuaga (before teh sponsorship is approved) at which point you don't have the Client ID. When did you pay your fees?

I did send the proper receipt that has the barcodes, name of the sponsor, address and telephone. Client ID is left empty since we don't have the client Id when we submit the application. The printout also says Official Receipt.

I received a eCAS tracker update. My application is In Process... We received your application for permanent residence on January 26, 2011. We started processing your application on May 18, 2011.

My eCas is active today. It says my application for permanent residence was received on Jan 26th.

I just received my AOR. It says my File number is FXXXXXXXXX. So how do I check my status in eCas. Should I use the Identification type as Immigration file number? When I use Immigration file number, I get a messaeg telling Immigration File numbers start with "B".

Got a email from eCas tracker this morning. I was super excited, but it was just a fake update. Hopefully they are doing something with the application. eCas tracker was using my Sponsor's information to check for updates.
