I got my residency about 3 weeks ago as an inland CEC candidate as I've been working here for 2+ years. Apart from getting the pr card and a new SIN, is there anything else that I personally need to do?
Just got the confirmation email.
CEC Inland
AOR - 29th September 2021

1st Update - 8th November 2021
2nd Update - 14th September 2022 (changed to we are processing your background check)
Confirmation email - 22nd September 2022
After 9+months of silence ive just had a second update in 2 days. My medical went from showing that it was passed on November 8th 2021 to passed on September 15th 2022
Here's hoping. Right now I'm on implied status since my visa expired and I'm waiting to hear back about my BOWP. If I want to carry on working I won't be able to leave Canada for a trip home until I get this sorted.
Looks like im in a similar position to other people. Just got back my latest GCMS notes and its the same as in April. Eligibility and medical passed but criminality and background check not even started.
If you've passed eligibility (according to GCMS notes) and are just waiting on criminality/background checks, are you pretty much guaranteed PR? Or is there something else that could easily deny my application?
