mine is oshawa ,on ......even I was bit worried why is it taking long to reach but I guess we have give them around 2 weeks (and plus weather conditions might have delayed it )

Congrats !!! I did send the passport too on the same date , and they did receive it on sep 11th . But have not seen any changes in the status yet , I am an outland applicant so I guess i'll have to wait a little more for the approval status .

It means that when I opened my cic account it read application update , but there were no changes when I opened my application

My status updated from IP1 to IP2 today (Background check We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.) AOR is MAY 9th ....Looks like maybe some movement will start now ( hopefully :))

I would suggest you calling cic , I have the same profile as yours I did call them this week and they did update me saying my eligibility passed and background chk has started . Even though my online status read same as yours (no update on it from MAY 17th) Hope you too get a positive response...
