I’m sorry to hear this. You should try to get in touch with the embassy regarding this. Once passport is requested it doesn’t take this long. Mine was submitted on 29th june and I recieved the passport on 15th july. Which office of vfs did you visit?

Same issue, tried everything passport number reference number tracking ID still no result. Don’t know what to do. I guess I’ll call the blue dart office tomorrow.

Status just changed.. approved. Such a relief

Yup mine didn’t change either. If you submit your passport in Canada the cic status changes before your passport is even dispatched don’t know how they work here. This is so tensed.

Passport submitted 29th june. Dispatched by the embassy but status on cic profile yet to change.

As it is already dispatched, you must now wait for the status to change to ready for pickup. Then you can just go there and pick up your passport. Shouldn't take long now.

Hopefully, anxiously waiting. Waiting is the hardest part.

No idea brother, even embassies work like just another Indian office. Don’t know they are lazy or what but they can never do anything within the given time limit which is 7 working days.

Once your passport is dispatched by the embassy you should get it the very next day. That’s what usually happens in most cases as VFS don’t take that long. Keep in mind only business days if its dispatched on the weekend you might get it the next weekday.
