Would biometric request be issued to someone if they were to be declined for a spousal sponsorship?

Hello Admins, A buddy of mine is sponsoring his wife and dependent child. They have been referred to London visa office but family reunification department. Oddly enough they have asked details about their relationship. Has anybody experienced this?

Bring it up at the immigration when you land. They should be able to fix it before on the spot. Later on it will be a challenge.

Thank you, my wife’s file got transferred over to LVO end of October. End of January we will complete the 12 months timeline. Keeping in mind the holidays in December, I guess she won’t get her visa issued before end of January.

I got the confirmation that the file is sent to VO for further processing. We did medical checks in July this year. Safe to assume they won’t delay it long enough to need a second med check?

Hi there, My wife and got married in Pakistan. We are both Afghans. Except I have a Canadian citizenship. We acquired a marriage certificate from Afghan consulate in Pakistan but now CIC is asking for a certificate attested by Pakistani government. Has anybody else run into this issue??
