Did you get anything from immigration approving your DLI change? Is it safe to change DLI once in Canada, but right as semester starts? not having studied before? sister-in-law got study permit for one DLI, but got accepted to another DLI we prefer, so wondering if she can come and then once...

Wanted to jump on here because wondering about this whole changing DLI stuff...my sister-in-law applied for study permit using masters program at a university for this Fall...just got approved...she also applied to a college to a post-grad program in same field and was accepted there...college...

So what would happen if she managed to get here still using the original DLI...but once she lands, we fill out the form online transferring her DLI...is immigration then going to send her a letter revoking her study permit?

I had a friend who did exactly this in the past...came and actually got accepted to a better school, so within the first weeks of school, transferred...and simply notified ircc online....is this a new thing that makes this not possible?
