Hi I live in Canada and my application is in process right now. Just curious to know about reasons and process for the next probable steps and know the timeline for each possibilities: pick up or mail. How about your family? Did they pick up and what was the the process?

I didn't get the point. My question is that why some people receive by mail and some should pick up. What is the criteria? I read somewhere that just for quality service check they choose randomly some applications for pick up. Is it correct? Thanks

But in status, there is only in process, decision made and complete so there is no status called secondary review. Furthermore there is another trend in the forum in which all the people requested for more documents and it seems they named that as secondary review. What is your idea?

I did not understand. When the documents are requested, it means it is secondary review? Can you tell me what is the process of secondary review and when one can understand his file is under secondary review?

Hi Any update for your case status? What is the AOR of yours?

Yes strange because if 43 days ago the decision is made then either they should send second review or your card the following day but for many people after 43 days of in process it changes to decision made amd then to complete.

I don’t mean AOR date as you mentioned that is May 1 but I mean which date your status in ecas changed from in process to decision made. Normally the process is receiving AOR then after Decision made then after that complete.

Hi What do you mean by renewing PR card with Non residence?

From the timelines of other people It seems that if they want to send an application to second review or so, they will send email same date or the day after as AOR, so if status is in process for several days with no email the applicant should wait for approval. Am I right?

So in conclusion: Received on February 8 Decision made 31 may(4 days before complete) Card mailed=complete June 4 Card received June 6 Are they right?
