I applied for an extension for my mum on Dec 4, 2023, it was approved yesterday. Extended until Jan 09, 2025. For context, I'm expecting, so I gave that as the reason for the extension... Upfront medicals were done, and Additional tests were requested to be submitted before the end of April 2024.

This is disheartening. If you're outside Canada you can use the Fongo app to call, and then follow the instructions. Also, you can research the MP of the area you would like to reside in Canada and email them to assist you with your application, explain your ordeal etc..

You can add your spouse after AOR, Scores will not be recalculated. Just ensure you get married after AOR not before. Search this forum you will see threads on the process of adding a spouse after acknowledgment of Receipt from IRCC..

No Travel history, Valid visit visa. Maybe that helped.
