Yes this works, I did it 3 weeks ago(spent 3 mins at the Vancouver border crossing)... Be honest at the border about the trip and don't carry more than you're allowed to in duty free goods.

Hi @Emily89 When did your photos reach CIC? I got a request on May 1st and was delivered to their office on May 7th, just trying to figure out when I might see an update.

That's good news @Sterphie , judging from that since my resubmitted photos reached them on May 7th, I can expect to hear something similar by 2nd week of June if all is good with the photos. Fingers crossed.

@Emily89 I sent my pictures on May 1st too, reached them on 7th(sent through Xpresspost and signed by CHRISH DS or someone). Do you know if they accepted your pictures? When did your pictures reach them? We will share a similar timeline.

This is sad, I hope no one else goes through this and this is your last month of waiting. Do you know why they requested photos for a second time?

I resubmitted photos on May 7th, but I followed the instructions. However, I've read similar situations to yours on this forum so you should be ok.

Hi @AliChraim You should be ok if you even sent in the accompanying letter from CIC, it has all your information and barcodes
