How long did it take from submitting your application to getting your medical approved? My son's is taking forever so wanted to see if that was normal or not.

Book the appointment now but do it as close to application submission as possible. You will have to land before they expire (1 year later) so this gives you maximum time. Especially if your application takes longer than the ‘six months’ they aim for.

The documents you have to upload can vary depending on what you put in your application so if you are going to go back and ‘fix’ later, just make sure you double check every document request has been met before submitting.
