Check processing times and which applications they’re processing now. Because it took a week for my status to change to complete since it said they’re processing applications received on Jan 25th which is when they received mine.

They do not select randomly for secondary review. Only if they think the case is complicated an application will go for a secondary review. And it depends on which places you’ve travelled. And as for PRTD you need to apply it from the country you’re travelling to.

Hey guys just an update. I checked my status just now and it says complete and my card was mailed on the 18th of May. All these days i checked my status using UCI number. But today I entered my application number and this is what it said.

I check my status at least 10 times a day just to check if it says complete. Calling them is such a pain!! You can never get a hold of them!

Now the website says they are working on applications received on Jan 25 which is when they received mine. And now the processing time says 104 days!! Let’s see. Hoping to hear from them this week.

My timeline is exactly the same as yours. The website says they’re processing applications received on Jan 22. So hopefully we’ll hear from them soon.

It is so had to get a hold of cic over the phone. It says busy all the time. I am leaving to India tomorrow. My husband will join me on June 1st. Just hoping I’ll get my card before that so that my husband can bring my card along with him

Oh wow!! That’s insane! Is her case complicated or straight forward? How many days was she away from Canada if you don’t mind me asking. I was away for 251 days in the last five years. So does that mean I travelled a lot or no? I have no idea. I am so confused right now

And will we receive another email from them or will the status change?
