Yeah. I have heard stories about Etobicoke. I would rather drive far out of the GTA area to do the landing if I am given the options. The anxiety just kicks in more and more as it gets closer and closer to the end. I can already imagine how painful the wait is going to be when it comes to...

I am not saying that there should not be any re-validation any sort or it is a waste of time. I totally understand there is just so little time in a day and some many applications to process. I guess I was under the impression that when it hits the decision made stage and the letter from CIC...

mine is inland.

Spouse in-land sponsorship don't send in the passports as far as i know. they do inland landing with the closest IRCC office.

10 weeks to wait for Etobicoke to contact you about when the landing appointment is.

Just curious.. if the application already has decision made, meaning it has passed all criteria and admissibility, why do they revalidate that again when we have already waited for months and years to reach the DM stage? All the revalidate and re-re-revalidate should have been done before the DM...

i understand that every landing is different. I guess I belong to the group that time is "not that precious" since i don't have expiring passport, medical or WP. :(

Yeah.. i called IRCC today and they say that their system shows 10 weeks waiting time. I hope i can hear from them soon. I see quite a few people on the forum here got it around 4-5 weeks after DM recently.

even after DM.. there is more waiting.. i have been waiting for an landing interview from Etobicoke for more than 5 weeks...:(:mad:

it's up to you. My guess is if you email them, you are going to get a pretty generic answer like "you will hear back from us in X weeks". i would suggest wait for 2 more weeks since most people are getting the appointment on their 5th week. I will let you know if i get mine this week since it is...

if you got DM on March 15, then expect to hear from them probably in a couple more weeks. our friends here who received landing appointments got DM late Feb. I got my DM on Mar 1st and still have not hear from them on landing. It seems people who got DM in early march are still waiting for...

Do they send emails or regular mail for interview appointment?

Maybe try emailing Etobicoke to see if they got your file and is just in the process of sending the appointment? CIC-Etobicoke-Landings@cic.gc.ca

As far as i know, I don't think you can flag pole landing anymore for inland applicants.

I hope I hear from them soon. I got DM on March 1st and still no new yet.... :(
