    Fingerprining request

I don't think ECAS shows any info on whether the document is received. Also normally fingerprint services they can't directly mail the results directly to IRCC. You sure that what they told you?

    Fingerprining request

Are you referring to RCMP certified criminal record? You can get the fingerprints done at you local police station, make sure you ask digital prints. The report will be mailed back to you in about 2 weeks if no match found. I got mine report back in 8 days.

    Moving money to Canada

I believe so, as long as you don't physically have over $10000 cash or equivalent (money order, checks) with you when crossing the border.

    Background check visa offce

Hi folks. Just curious if anyone has similar experience as mine that can share. I currently have H1b visa (7 years and counting......) in the US, not a US green card holder, and am in process of the family sponsorship through my wife (wife is Canadian). For background check (has yet started)...

Moving to Canada with a U.S. Leased Car.

Good luck! Keep in mind that importing car to Canada is subject to GST if you're not a new immigrant. Also there's a whole bunch of fees to be expected when you register it in Canada, the insurance is most likely to be more expensive for US imports as well (heck, the auto insurance in Canada is...

Moving to Canada with a U.S. Leased Car.

You can take the car to a dealer for a trade in at anytime during the lease. Basically the dealer will buy out the car from the manufacturer instead of you. You'll just have to pay the difference between the trade and the residue value. As far as I know, sales tax doesn't kick in in this case.

Moving to Canada with a U.S. Leased Car.

Problem is that I don't want to buy out my car as it has whole bunch of issues..... I guess trading it in is probably the best option as I can save sales tax, as far as I know I don't need to pay sales tax on the residue value. Just taking the car to Canada without importing is kind of too...
