For our interview for PR they want an original date of entry as well as most recent. Which original date is this? We are inland application. My (American) spouse has been here many times before we applied, so which date do they want - the one from 12 years ago or during the application?

they are listed originally in the application form for permanent residency, had to get their photos and information such as passport etc, but it doesn't seem like we should ask them for background check and police check, one lives overseas with a wife and the other is an adult in university.
