Are u the sponsor? Sign in on sponsor account and put in applicants passport info and 2 for number. I think this is what I did and it worked to link. When applicant gets AOR2 then link to applicants account.

If you have to do one for the USA, you can do it mostly on line and get the results in a number of days. My husband got an email with his results 2 days after receipt of his finger prints. Good luck

Just So excited. Found our application on GCKey account and linked it first try. Application received April 26 and in our account today. No email yet. But I now have the case file number. That is only 34 days from receipt. Hope all else goes well. Good luck to all the other April 26th applicants.

Even though it should be about 35 days from receipt to opening for Outland. So April 2nd could be opened week of May 7th. Good luck to all. Waiting is so hard.

We had our application from Feb returned. When I called on April 23 they told me they were opening March 20 submissions so that is about 5 weeks 35 days out. We have just resubmitted it so hoping for June 1 opening. Good luck to everyone that is waiting.

Is your sponsor living outside of Canada? A couple of us are sponsors living outside of Canada and we are still waiting and our applications were received in mid Feb.

We also are waiting for news. We both live in the USA and applied Outland. Application signed for Feb. 16. The number that people call can only be used in Canada. I tried it from the USA and it wouldn't go through. Fortunately I live close enough to the Canadian border so am going to visit...

Apparently, our application hasn't been opened yet..so no account number assigned to it yet. So we wait today is day 55.

Mine was received Feb. 16 and P A is USA as well Sponsor(me) is living in the USA. No response yet. I have tried to link with just name and no numbers but couldn't do it. I tried calling but telephone number doesn't work out side of Canada. We will just wait. Eventually they will find our file...

It's day 53 and no response received from Feb 16 receipt of application. We are living in the USA and I tried calling the CIC but the number can only be called from Canada. Does anyone have any ideas on how I could contact them short of driving across the border to make the call? We are worrying...

I'm Canadian sponsor living in USA, PA is American citizen in USA. We submitted the new checklist and included background form and police form. We sent application by Fedex to Missasauga.

We also had our application signed for on Feb 16th and no response yet. We are both living outside Canada so maybe this is a factor in getting our AOR. Hoping soon. Waiting is so hard.

Are their any sponsors who are applying from outside of Canada. My file was received on Feb 16. but we haven't received any confirmation of opening yet. Do they send it somewhere else for processing? The sponsor and applicant are both in the USA.

The new forms and the new checklist allow you to send your background form and your police certificate with your application so they have them and you will not have to upload later. Speeds things up. Good luck with your application.
