First landing was June 1, 2018. Moving permanently in July 2021. If I stay 1095 days after permanently moving will I be fine?

Do you need to spend 3 years (out of 5) right after you first land in Canada? Or can you spend 3 years in the last 5 and apply for citizenship once the 3 years have been completed? For example if I live 3 years in a row after I moved to Canada which was 2.5 years after my first landing?

Received passport back with single-entry immigrant visa stamped on it. All done now! Time to book some tickets... :)

They give 30 days to submit passport and any additional requested documents.

We submitted passport on Dec 20th and they said it takes about 4 weeks to be returned. Surprisingly we received another email on Dec 31st stating that there was a message in our online profile (GcKey). When we logged on it said the application has been approved! :) Now just waiting for...

I received an email that there was a message received in my online profile. When I logged on, there was a message stating pre-arrival.

I applied to sponsor my wife in April 2018. File was transferred to London Visa Office in July 2018 and there was no update for a very long time. Received Pre-Arrival letter (in online profile) on Dec 11th Received Passport Request (in online profile) on Dec 14th Hoping the end is near!

Nothing else was flagged. Just the checklist.

They returned my full application. So I definitely need to resubmit.

What can you do... it’s just annoying that I have to go through the whole application again and resend and then wait more than a month for them to respond.

My application was returned to me. They stated that I did not use the most updated check-list. I need to use the updated check list and re-send now... :(

Approximately how long does it take to receive the AOR and what is the receipt method (email or physical mail)?

I'm applying from the UAE for my wife. I'm a Canadian citizen and so is our daughter. My application was received in Mississauga on Feb 6th. Good luck to all of us!
