Yes, I'm in Toronto and my visitor extension came about 5 days after approval. And it comes from Vegreville - Alberta like the OWP.

I didn't know that you can check your work permit application from the eca website. Just the cic.

Generally, they send an email a few days later saying the decision made. But if you link your application in the CIC website you can see the updates. But there are no email notifications until they take a decision.

I think the person is talking about the work permit.

Same to me. It's saying that they received my OWP application on December 6, 2017. Still waiting... :(
