I think you are supposed to fill in your previous travels from 18th birthday OR the last 5 years, whichever is more recent.. It is written somewhere on the form.

I think the description of this form says travels from your 18th birthday or the last 5 years, whichever is more recent! So no need to put 17 years of travel, just the 5!
