What if I am to apply when the passport is being renewed? Say for instance, I send the passport for renewal now and then apply for the pgwp a few weeks later using the old passport info when the prerequisite documents (for the pgwp) are at hand, and update the application with the new passport...

Hi, Has anybody applied for the PGWP while their passport was in the process of being renewed? My passport is expiring early next year and I want to get it renewed before applying, but if I am to start the process now, there would be some delay in applying for the PGWP. Thank you!
