Request for fingerprints to continue with the application

Anybody with experience in providing fingerprints? If I've understood the letter correctly, the process might be faster if I submit it directly with RCMP but I can't seem to find any RCMP centers where I can provide fingerprints. Only agencies. P.S. I'm in Downtown Toronto

Request for fingerprints to continue with the application

Thank you for your reply. I got a bit alarmed but this is a bit relieving. Unfortunate that I’ll need to spend more on this but it can’t be avoided. Thanks again.

Request for fingerprints to continue with the application

Has anyone ever received a request for fingerprints to continue with the applications? They say it’s required to ensure I’m not a criminal or whatever (something to do with Section 21 and 22). it’s kind of annoying to have to do these extra chores and spend more money. Any inputs would be...

Is there any point in trying to reach IRCC?

Ditto. I’m not going to attempt it again though. Based on what others are saying it’s simply a matter of luck - in the sense of which officer gets assigned and how long they take to review your test. So kind of forgetting about it for now and will trust the system to move things along as a when...

Is there any point in trying to reach IRCC?

Thank you for replying. Would you by any chance have an idea of how long it could take? Seems like everybody but me (at least within my group of friends) received the confirmation within just a few days. Or at this point should I just forget about it and hope for the best haha

Is there any point in trying to reach IRCC?

I know this is a common complaint at this point but I’m also suffering from no revert after the citizenship test. It has been a few weeks now and I’m beginning to wonder if I even took the test - did I imagine taking and clearing the damn thing lol? There’s literally no confirmation or email...

Received my PR card in a deliberately opened envelope

Don’t know what to make of this. Has any of you ever had an incident like this. Is there anything I should do to cover my base vis a vis identity theft or whatever - I feel like that’s a real threat in Canada and to receive a deliberately opened envelope with your new PR card is fairly unsettling.

Reporting back - got my new PR card in less than two weeks. Interesting detail though - received it in an open envelope that looks deliberately opened. Don’t know what to make of it.

Proof showing that you meet the residency obligation…

ah that's a relief to know. Thank you. I guess what threw me off was the 'notice of assessment' option as it mentions: Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) Notice of Assessment for the five (5) years immediately before the application I figured if they want 5 years of notice of assessments perhaps...

    PR Card Renewal Online 2024

ah cool! I managed to consolidate last 2.5 years of consecutive paystubs. Do you think that will suffice along with the bank statements? I could also submit the Notice of assessment but I haven't done my 2023 taxes yet and would rather not wait for the assessment notice to arrive. Thanks agian

Proof showing that you meet the residency obligation…

Hi all, What are the best documents to provide for this? From the options provided in the Appendix A - I seem to be unsure of all of them and would love your inputs on whether the following would suffice: - Employment record or pay stubs > Can I submit the last 2.5 years worth of pay stubs...

    PR Card Renewal Online 2024

I'm also submitting mine - did you notice a change in the document requirements? most people I know didn't have to submit any residence proof but the document checklist i downloaded seems to mandate the documents in Appendix A. What did you submit for that? Also - such a pain to get the...

Serving as Director in pvt. ltd.

Yeah go ahead. Everything went smoothly for me and I got the PR. Sure yourself as the director if that's the case, submit all govt documents to validate that. Your CA can tell you what all that may constitute. The other director will need to prep your experience letter.

Passport request mail received / but no change in GC login portal

Hello all, I just received a mail from "DoNotReply-DELHI-Immigration@international.gc.ca" with the subject line "Passport Request Letter". They've asked me to submit my Passport and Photographs at the nearest VFS so I'm guessing this is a cause for celebration? However, I noticed that my GC...
