Got the option to pickup citizenship certificate from citizenship office within 10 day. Applied passport next day and got my Canadian passport in 5 days. Best of luck to all.

I did not apply. But one of my friend applied Super Visa for his parents and it got approved. they did travel on visitor visa once

So Finally after a very long wait of 21 months, Status updated today. Scheduled for Oath Ceremony on 10th March. Such a relief!!

I got a ghost update on 16 Dec. No email No change in status. Any else got any updates?

I also applied in May 2021. Most problematic month considering majority of applications stuck are in that very month. Even May 2022 applicants are citizens now with passport.

I have lost all hope in my Citizenship application. I think I should start a new application for renewing my PR card which expires next year.

More than 4 months now. No progress on the file after the Background check was completed post providing fingerprints. My wife already got the passport even though we applied on same date. Due date for rest of the items was 28 Aug. RCMP criminality report expires in march 2023. Any one else...

In my ATIP notes the due date for remaining IN progress Status was August28. Even that date is passed now. Does anyone know if I should wait for some days or call IRCC now.

I think GCMS notes are free and for ATIP you need to pay $5. Which I think is not useful at all. GCMS are good enough. Each of 6 steps e.g. Background Verification, Language, Physical presence , etc have a set future due date assigned by which they are expected to close/complete it.

I have almost same timeline. Last update was Background verification - Completed- May 23, 2022 . nothing after that. The only difference is the due date on my ATIP notes in 2022/08/28

Go ahead and apply. You are not alone with such a case. I got mine as well. Just ensure your financial condition is good in Canada. All you need to prove is that you have sufficient funds in Canada to pay for their travelling , accommodation and food . Good Luck
