Hmm... I thought receiving the test invite already meant that the background check is done, or atleast be done by the time you go take the test. Do we have any case here where the decision was made on the same day as the test? Just wondering what the steps are after someone pass their test?

If you return after midnight, like 2am as you mentioned, then it will be considered as 1 day out of Canada.

Only 3 lines, 3rd one being the In Process one. Maybe it will change in a day or so.

I believe you either get an email or a snail-mail. In your case, it seems the later.

I got all the details via email today. Ecas not yet updated and only says "in process. Basically, they are asking to bring the original documents that are listed in the citizenship application checklist, when you applied, to the Citizenship Test. That's all.

Update! Got my test invite just now via email for the 27th of March.
