Received a request for copies of my passport and photos today from LVO... does that mean I’ve been approved? No update in ECAS ?

I'm a May applicant and per my visa office (Los Angeles) my file isn't up for review until next (May) month.They received the file in late January BGC- In progress since November SA- June Med Approved- September

I feel you pain man. Im one month from one year mark and VO said they wont even begin looking at my file until the beginning of next month

Finally got a word back from LA VO they stated its going to be at least a month before my file is reviewed LOL annnd somehow there sure they'll need more documents

I ordered my notes and yes it did point to the reason of transfer to LA VO. I’m not sure how true this is but I was also told by an IRCC phone agent that every time you order your notes , the agent must stop working on your file? It’s good to see there working on files though pretty quick...

Received an email from LA VO requesting paperwork already in the file :-/..... we’ll see at least it seems there not sitting on files

any ever seen the acronym AB-M?

I recently noticed that the prefix AB-M was added to my application # after my file was passed off to my local visa office ? Anyone know what the prefix stands for?

I’ll do the same. They seem to be on there own time w very little mandate to correspond to inquiries lol .. We’re definitely on there time.

Assumed expunged meant expunged smh...... super minor charge as well I would’ve easily claimed it nothing to get denied for at all. Anywhoo I submitted a new Schedule A with LOE an documents . Fingers crossed

I wonder if there’s a way to check LA’s processing times or pipeline... they stopped responding to my inquiries an MPs can only help if the VO is in Canada ...
