My employer is looking into hiring an immigration lawyer for some advice. If this pans out and I get a solid answer I'll let you know. But so far I think it looks like we can't work :(

Thank you everyone for the input. I spoke to my employer today and thankfully they're willing to work with my in the crossover period if I'm not eligible to work on implied status. I do see a lot of people chance it and just keep working, but I can't say I want to risk it!

Hello all, I have applied for my PR and expect it to come through some time in February. My current working holiday visa is up on the 11th of December, so I applied today for the bridging visa. I leave to go home for Christmas so I'd be giving up implied status... if I come back in as a visitor...
