i think u receive a work permit for 3 years if u studied canada for at least 2 years (your program duration not the time you took).

Have some patience. It clearing is nothing to be DEPRESSED about. I applied for mine under non spp at chandigarh on the 17th of oct, still waiting. it is taking around 30-40 days for the general category. Probably, you will get yours next week (as it is under spp). Dont worry.
