Thank you for your reply. The reason why i asked question #1 is that immigration services in ottawa told us to send documents back to vsf office. That is why I am confused, to my understanding there is nothing to cancel as well. Just worry if my parents will be able to enter Canada in January...

hello, We applied for the permanent residence for my parents through the sponsorship for parents program. They completed all the steps and were issued visas and CoPR. However, the visa validity was up to the end of October of 2017. Unfortunately they were not able to enter Canada by that time...
