Just make sure u submit all documents they want. In my case I submitted all documents but still they made a mistake. So they didn't have the reason to reject my application but had to rectify the situation because I submitted all documents that they needed.

Hi guys, My old expired passport number is ruplicated on my 3 years work permit document. The passport has expired but my work permit is still valid untill November 2022. I received my new passport just few days ago. Do I have to renew my work permit again based on the new passport I have now.

I called IRCC, They told me that my application may have confused the person who processed it. He thinks the person who processed my application thought that the 2 graduate certificates which are of 4 semesters in total do not account for 2 years that's why they gave me 1 year work permit...

I am going to call them this Monday, I don't know what went wrong. I didn't lie/withheld any facts. I feel so down. I never thought I would end up getting 1 year after I invested so much money to study for 2 years. Any way such is life.
