We finally received visa pickup email 18 days after interview. Good news is that the embassy is still working. Our process from start to the day he will pick up visa was less than 10 months. For all those waiting, the day will come:)

You should here something soon. We have the same time line. We heard last Wed of interview for April 9. You should be hearing anytime for visa pickup or interview. Our notes still haven't been updated so you can't rely on that.

Today we got interview date for April 9. Odd thing is that it still says they have not received medical results and haven't started background check. Either nobody updates it or they truly haven't done either.

Our's still says medical results not received. The medical was done Jan 19. I'm hoping any day now the results are received.....

I hope so. It also said we are reviweing your additional documents but we do not have additional documents. Ha!

I called and mine says we did not receive your medical results and we will send you a medical request form or email with details. Omg. What? I hope it's a glitch. The medical was done Jan 19.

Mine still says reviewing medical results but background hasn't started yet.

Lol it does seem they do things their way. we ordered a new police check last week as it expires end of March. Crossing fingers that everything goes fast for us.

That's great news! Did they receive the medical results? I didn't know they would call to say they will do the background, etc.

I received an AOR2 almost two and a half months after it was sent to Havana. And it was only a few days after AOR2 that we received medical request. We received medical request Jan 2. AOR2 was on Dec 27. His medical is Jan 19. And i believe it takes 4-6 after for them to review. Hope that helps:)

I received an email on Oct 12 stating my file was being transferred but have never received confirmation of receipt of the applicat

I was told that the average time for medical calls once the papers are in Havana is 6 months.

My papers were received on July 12 Sponsorship approval Aug 29 Papers sent to VO in Havana on Oct 12 Now waiting for the medical call
