Just saw mine with Ack Oct 5, processed Oct 30 got Purolator tracking. Wife's with OCT 11 Ack got processed status today

No, unfortunately I don't think walk in will work unless you line up really early morning, and even then it's just a chance. Keep checking the website and take any availability for any service. They don't really check.

Fwiw, I'm at the bls in Toronto and they are taking oci applications. No idea on processing time though. I had applied for evisa on Sep 19 , no progress on it though. I was hoping it would get processed because it went through before Sep 21 but I guess they have stopped all visa related activities.

Our biometric is complete and they have request passport to be submitted. Does anyone have experience to share on how long after submitting the passport via courier does it take to have it stamped and returned with a visa? Asking because we need to book tickets soon. Thanks

Can anybody with this issue please post an update? Are they (BLS/India) accepting with First Name: XXX on Canadian passport? Is it really necessary to go for a name change?

Is there anyone around that have got DM on ECAS in early Jan 2019, but no further communication since. From what I have read here, PPR (or is Pre-arrival) should be sent out soon after DM. Who does it go to? Sponsor or PA? Neither of us have received anything, and its like a little over a month...
