I think if it's a documents related, they will do it by writing.. someone I know also got that letter without being interviewed under" non genuine marriage" but after they provided more proof he was given his visa

It's like saying "we have a good reason to refuse your application but you have one last chance to prove US wrong".

When we applied we included tons of proof even our child's birth certificate (Born in Canada) and they still sent us the so call Fairness letter and accused us of being a fraud jus because a missing stamp we didn't know was required.. when I got the letter only 6days was left on the 30day...

Absolutely..the system needs to be fixed. I know a friend in the UK who applied for his wife and only had to wait for a week.IRC sucks..even the state's system is much better than ours.

IRC thinks the system is working perfectly well for everyone and their priority is to reunite families in the shortest time possible..but actually it is to keep us apart as long as they can...how is it a fair system when some applicant cases have been forgotten on desks for years and others get...

We re in a similar situation except we have been waiting way longer than you..am not even gonna bother contacting them anymore as it's been fruitless, Even through my MP.

In February they sent us the "fairness letter". They thought our marriage certificate was a "fraud". Because it was missing a stamps from the local registery. My hubby then corrected it and sent the original with the stamps on it to the VO within 2 weeks. Ever since a silence..

It's say "in progress" I don't know if it means started or not started.

I never called them and I don't think they will answer..but I sent them an email a month ago and received no response. Our PM contacted them earlier this month and that was not helpful as he was not given enough info but was told that we will hear from them by next yearFebruary
