yes exactly same thing happened with me too. But I came to know from another from this was system glitch, as this happened with other applicants too!!

when you sent your passport?

Im jan 2017 applicant and waiting for any response and my friend who was July 2017 applicant received his ppr 3weeks ago, So I am not sure what is going on with CIC but there is no relevancy between processing times for everyone and most disturbing thing you cannot argue or get any satisfactory...

I saw this BGIP thing on Feb 27, first everyone thought it’s a glitch, now apparently 85% of application whose status changed to BGIP had received their PPR emails already, so it’s not a false alarm.. so stay positive and hope for best soon

same here I also found BG IP this morning, is it real or system changing status by default because of site maintenance?

not only you dear, all of us PNP inland applicants treated as same. only those apply through EE are decent ones (not pointing on applicants) because they get permanant within 2-3 months, whereas inland applcants wait for only security clearance for atleast 5-6 months

when cic receive your medical then background check turns into n/a... then before decision made it again changes to in progress

yes as per current situation.. but cic take more time to process security and background checks

i noticed cic did some movement with jan 2017 files in last week
