dude unless your wife is a criminal I think you'll be fine. it's just routine check, some application certainly undergo more verifications that other but at least your application is being looked at, not forgotten like many of us here. sit back a relax everything will be ok

That's an interesting point, it is true that in various countries you can pay more to speed up whatever you're dealing with the government. But I believe in Canada it would be against the rule since you can't discriminate based on $.. gotta be patient on this one bud

I hear you, international student as well, been waiting for 4 months. Sadly this seriously makes me reconsider my plans in Canada when I'll graduate in a few month... But I don't think the refugees have anything to do with that tho, CIC just lacks fund/staff wich is a shame

Online yes, from Vietnam so HCM office, but my wife moved back to her country, in Ukraine, so we send an email to CIC for change of address but ne never heard back from them.

Has anybody tried to call CIC? No matter which option I choose on the menu I can't seem to access an agent I it hung up. My wife's application is 1 month past the normal processing time without any news. And we sent a mail 3 weeks ago without answer. What are our options? Thank everybody

Same here, applied 1st July for SOWP, sent an email almost 3 weeks ago about change of address, no answer, no updates

July 1st application here, from Vietnam so I don't know which visa office this is gonna be, Singapore I guess? And same as everybody, no news no nothing.
