Yes, my information still cannot be found in ECAS a week after online AOR. AOR Aug11, registered in the new tracker Aug13, and interestingly got an email Aug17 with instructions to the new tracker. So looks like they are endorsing using that in favor of ECAS. Not sure about this strange 6 day...

Got my AOR email on Aug11 (online application, only took 5+ months...). Can see it "in progress" in the new tracker, but not in ECAS.

The tracker is biased though towards this audience (who is savvier than average), I expect lots of people who don't participate in this forum aren't aware of online applications, and even if they had 10% chance to see the link, not everybody would just go and register the account right away. Online application is almost exactly the same as paper application (and needs the same scanned documents), the only difference I could see are photo requirements (needs to be digital + photographer information), and the tax section no longer asks "required to file Y/N" (only "taxes filed Y/N").

I don't think we have enough data yet to say conclusively which one is faster. People in other threads are saying that paper applicants are getting their AORs faster. Most likely online applicants are saving a couple of days of mailing time but who knows what beyond that. In either case I...
