Don't worry too much. I applied late July and got my AOR on 09/13... and I believe that was pretty average. I think they kind of slowed down over the summer. OWP is just short for Open Work Permit. :)

Yep I did as well. There is one fee for applying for a work permit that's $155 or so and then another "Open Workpermit Holder" fee that's $100. If it weren't an open work permit I guess it only would be the $155, but I suppose all of us apply for the open work permit so the total is $255.
