Most of the DAR VO applications do get done in under 12 months so hopefully yours is the same! We sent it to VFS office in Dar. Hope you hear something soon with yours!! :)

Just checked online and the application status has been changed to approved. Just the waiting game now with Canada Post!

They just said it was sent for processing. Not sure how long it takes to make the card but I would imagine it would be quite quick? Will keep checking online to see if any of the status's have updated and will let you know if anything changes

Sent a webform to ask about my husband's PR card as it was over the processing time and got an answer within 24 hours. The application was approved and has been sent for processing but no updates online where I linked the app so it looks like the status is not correct or not updated frequently...

I agree! :) I wish I never linked my husband's PR card. Just makes me anxiously check it every day!

Does the PR card status show up on ECAS for anyone?

Yeah that will delay it being mailed out but not it being processed.

I am abroad with my husband (he was the applicant) until January so can't call from out of country.

How long on average have people been waiting for their permanent residency card after landing? My husband landed on September 25th so still within the amount of days but just curious, especially with the Canada Post strike!
