    Indian passport surrender

Hi! I am filling out the form for surrender certificate and it is not letting me type full birth place (as per passport). How do I go about this as I don’t want BLS to send me back for this? Do I just fill up to whatever letters I can or can I handwrite anything?

    Decision in 4 days?

And the worst thing is this profile was reviewed by Chinook. You can note in gcms “file reviewed with assistance of Chinook 3+”. I don’t think an actual officer even touched the file.

    Decision in 4 days?

Totally!! I agree with that. It is so hard to prove home ties and not to prove ties in Canada. If you have a sibling in Canada, they would say you have ties in Canada. I have learnt that it’s just not easy to convince an officer I guess if your sibling who is over 30 and not very well...

    Decision in 4 days?

It was going to be tourism and visiting me since my work is crazy busy (law firm) and I won’t get more than one week off for an international trip this year. I only mentioned he will be spending time with us and sightseeing for one week within BC. I understand it wasn’t the best and strongest...

    Decision in 4 days?

The letter I received is generic letter for refusal stating ties in Canada, no ties outside Canada, proposed length of stay ( it was for 2 weeks), and purpose of travel. I honestly feel this has been forced to reject by chinook as there was literally no review started on file as I checked an...

I applied for visit visa for my sibling from India and the application was refused after just 4 days. I applied on Feb 14 and got a rejection letter today (Sunday) around 3pm. I checked this morning and the eligibility review hadn’t even started. Is it chinook software that they employed to get...

How to address the below refusal reasons for brother:

He has been in the same job for about 6-7 years and he earns like 35k INR a month and does not have option to work remotely. He is 35. One of my parents has TRV and she spent only 2 months staying here with us. My brother has not applied for anywhere else to immigrate. The only travel history...

How to address the below refusal reasons for brother:

Thanks for your reply. He showed $12k in his savings/salary account with no lumpsum amount. He also had his employment letter with salary slips and leave granted for 2-3 weeks for the trip. For investments, he showed fixed deposit of $18k under his name (fairly old funds) and parents...
