You can even mail the vfs. The mail-id is on their website. Mention the date of submission of application,tracking number and your passport number.

I don't think VFS centres will give any other information other than what is available on their website. It is the Canada High Commission who has everything in their hand.

Applied for visa on 11th July from Pune. It went to Bangalore office. But still no reply. Also, I am not able to link my application to CIC. So cannot even check if medical has been approved or not. Any help?
