Cic canada confirmed that the passport is with ndvo. They have not dispatched it to vfs yet. They said in the email that some cases take longer than others. But my passport has been with them for 1 month and 10 days and they don't care enough to give me a sensible reason even.

They won't let us inside the embassy. Even the MP said that cic says they cannot give an exact day for the dispatch. Nobody has any idea why our passports are stuck at NDVO for over a month. I feel so helpless.

Hi, i submitted my passport to VFS Mumbai on 14th of December 2017 and have still not received it. VFS says contact cic. I have emailed/called cic in canada as well as delhi but haven't gotten a reply. It's over a month now. This is ridiculous. Anyone else in the same situation here?

Nope. I submitted my passport to NDVO on the 14th of December and it still hasn't been dispatched. Most people get it back in a week. I've writtten, called, tweeted and done everything but it's just stuck there. So annoying to be held up all over again even at this final stage.

Yes. They are really big pictures as compared to the normal passport sized ones. Take the measurements with you to the photographer.

Submitted my Passport to ndvo on the 14th of December. Still haven't recieved it. I thought the wait was finally over but I guess 25 days to stamp a passport is still not enough for ndvo. Anyone else facing the same issue? :(

Before the interview, the background check field on GC Key said 'application in progress. We will message you when we start your background check'.

My GC Key said 'bcg in process' prior to my interview and it still says 'bcg in process' after i got PPR even! Lol

I got the same message on ecas and exactly one day after that message showed up.. i got PPR! :)

Hi, I applied with the 'old application package' in Feb 2017 so my medicals were upfront. I didn't get a letter requesting me for it. But now they've changed it all and you've gotta wait for an email requesting it.

My GC Key still shows in process. On GC Key my bcg hasnt even started. And decision is still in process. But my ecas shows 'decision made' and I got an email for Passport Request today so I guess GC Key isn't updated.
