Hi Guelphmm, the status of my TRV show as approved and there is a request for original passport on Nov 16, however i haven't received any confirmation email from CIC. Should i have received one or can i directly submit my pp?

Not to sound pessimistic but the wait seems to be longer than 2-3 months so please plan accordingly. Only in exceptional cases it has got approved in 3-4 months. I got my kid's AOR 2 on June 19 nothing after that.

Ideally it should be that way, but i too think it is a single window for Spouse and Children, as the first letter in the the application(F) seems to indicate that. All family sponsorship starts with F

Hi kcward7 Apparently your representative can link your application through their GC Key and can get the detailed updates as well. I found this in CIC website http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/portal-guide.asp I am going to talk to my representative tomorrow. Thanks Ravi

Thank you, perhaps i need to live with it. I was able to get the status by calling IRCC, the latest status is Fingerprints and Interview not needed, i guess there wouldn't be any BGC for infants.

Hi Friends, I am sponsoring my dependent child(1.3 yrs) and the status currently is medical successful, Interview not needed. I called IRCC and found this status, i tried to link my application,however it says i need to disassociate the use of representative to be able to link it myself. Anyone...
