I just concluded a masters at Kingston University. Had a masters in Nigeria before now which I used in applying for my PhD at University of Manitoba.

I did not have ielts. I am a Nigerian

I got my visa today. Applied 10th July online in London. This forum kept me busy while I was waiting with anxiety. I wish all those waiting all the best. God did mine. He'll do yours. Cheers

Why not go to Canada first and see if you can take your IELTS from there? At the same time, send a letter to your supervisor and department to see if a deferral is possible based on your present circumstance. I hope that solves your issue which is minor by the way, compared to a rejected study...

You still have to take your passport to Canada House in London to have it stamped I think. What country are you from and what school are you going to for your phd if you don't mind my asking
