I would have given them a call.It seems a bit long.It usually doesn’t take longer than a month to get your landing interview after you got your DM.A lots of people had issues with not received their landing letter and skipping their appointments.So just give them a call and ask what’s going on.

Hey Everyone, They just changed my background status from " not applicable" to " in progress". My application was received on August 17th. I assume that we should get a request for a medical exam pretty soon. Good Luck to Everyone.

You don’t need a Canadian criminal check done unless they requested it.I posted the link from CIC website a couple times and I’m too lazy to look for it again.So don’t worry and just wait if they request it.

It's pretty much 7 days a week. I saw people getting AOR on Saturdays and Sundays

That's from CIC Website: "You do not need to provide a police certificate for your time in Canada. If required, a Canadian criminal record check will be conducted. You may be asked to provide fingerprints or additional information later, if we need it to complete the check."

You do not need to upload Canadian criminal check and fingerprints unless they requested it. I was confused as well but then figured it with help of CIC web site. I can send you a link if you want.

I just submitted my Schedule A and police certificates. Let's see how long it would take to get a medical exam request.

No, not yet. I'm tracking it through Canada Post and it doesn't say it's delivered. I hope they'll receive it tomorrow.
