I too get same error. I submitted on August 2nd. I think they're processing paper based faster than the online. Current wait time is 72 days. I have plans to leave before that. Let's see how it goes.

From what I've learned so far, they are directly sending pr cards by mail, no AOR and nothing. Check this to check your application status https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do

You just need to upload the form and copy of your PR card. You don't have to destroy pr card until you receive the new one.

Thanks for the confirmation, looks like there is no AOR then, they directly ship PR card. I submitted on August 2nd, I think I could receive mine before October 10th. Fingers crossed

While filling up the form, you may have entered all the information already. But if they need they will ask for additional documents needed, I think it should be fine. Worry not.

It is very likely they will get their passports before 8th July. I submitted my parents on 24th May, it reached IRCC on 25th. We got update today morning that it's dispatched.

We're sailing in the same boat. My brother in law(Stays in Toronto on PR) applied for my fiancé on March 19th. We're still waiting for any updates for her. Currently, IRCC is super slow, but applicants with age more 75 is processed within 15 days.
