agreed. none of this makes sense, neither what CIC told me over the phone. Guess i should call back again and ask whats up. I mean, its been 4 months for my OWP, shouldn't they have an answer why I don't have it yet?

Spoke with CIC today. They said they won't issue anymore OWP unless AIP due to huge backlog, how does that even make sense?

Its been 105 days since our application... no OWP in sight yet.... Anyone submitted app in end of august and still no OWP?

I am living with my partner in Canada...but as as US citizen travelling to the US to visit my family for 2 days, is it really a requirement for me to stay dormant , no matter what happens? lol

Hello all! We applied inland end of August, got our AOR in October, schedule A sent. Still waiting for OWP?! not sure how long that is going to take. I am a US citizen and wanted to travel to the US for about 1 week to visit family. Is it OK to do without OWP in hand? my lawyer discouraged us...

Got a request for schedule A. 1) Whats the fastest way to get FBI clearance? is it through a channel or directly with FBI? 2) if OWP was submitted same time as application, does it depend on schedule A and all that stuff?

we are using a lawyer and fo some reason they are not at all concerned.
