Anyone who applied for visit visa in May from Pakistan ? Eligibility completed 15-20 days ago. Applied on May 4. Background Check in progress No update. I see people’s visas getting approved in 30 or lesser day.

Hi, Can someone please share what it means if background check is ‘Not Applicable’ from Day-1 till now i.e, 15 days. Eligibility is in process for visit visa. Biometric exempted due to age 85+. Applied on 20th May, 2024.

So my father-in-law’s visitor visa application says that ‘ background check’ is ‘not applicable’ while ‘eligibility’ is ‘reviewing’. What could be the reason? He is 86 and bio exempt. Is this due to bio exemption?

I am applying for my father-in-law for visit visa from Pakistan. The application fee doesn't show any biometric fee (85$). It's just the standard 100$ fee for visit visa. Can someone help?
