    Thank you for your reply! A lot of people are advising us to get a demand draft instead of cash to make bank account opening easy. I don't understand it though and prefer to take cash as D/D would incur extra charges. What do you suggest?

    @qorax Hi Qorax, thanks for so much info, its big help! I have a question on carrying funds to Canada. As per CIC, for a family of 4 we need to show that we have 23,181 CAD. My question is if we need to make a draft and bring this money for landing or can we bring cash in CAD for landing...

As a family of 4 -2 adults and 2 kids, we had to show proof of funds- CAD 22,000 for our PR under EE> My question is how much minimum should we carry with us and in what form? If we carry cash will it be ok to open a bank account? The reason I ask...

    Hi, my son has an American Passport with a valid COPR. We are planning to do our landing as a family this month. Do I need to apply eTA for my son as he can travel visa free into Canada? Or can he travel without and eTA since he has a COPR? Please help!
